Paul Huggins specializes in the representation of companies in commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on intellectual property licensing and technology-based transactions, services agreements, and procurement and supply arrangements. Paul has experience counseling clients in a range of industries, including software, hardware, life sciences, semiconductors, Internet, ecommerce, solar, telecommunications, and automotive (electric vehicles). Paul also has extensive experience in company formation, venture capital financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representation.
Prior to co-founding Kastner Huggins Reddien Gravelle LLP, Paul spent seven years in the Technology Transactions and Corporate practice groups of the Austin, Texas office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. a Palo Alto-based law firm specializing in representation of technology and emerging growth companies. Paul has also served as a staff attorney at IBM Corporation, supporting the p Series business unit of IBM’s Systems & Technology Group.
Away from the office, Paul has served as an Advisory Board member of SXSWi’s Accelerator pitch competition, as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of St. Matthew’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas, and as coach of youth baseball and basketball teams through Western Hills Little League and the West Austin Youth Association.
Paul received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, with honors and a Dean’s Achievement Award. He received an A.B. in History from Middlebury College.
